I recently got the chance to chat with ACIM students and teachers Britney Shawley and Tom Glod. It had been a little over a year since I last saw them in person. And so much has happened in that time frame. Britney and Tom are new parents, I moved to Hawaii and the release of the ACIM Documentary, titled A Course in Miracles – Enlightenment or Bust! is finally here. But regardless of the seeming changes, one thing remains the same – our purpose.
In this conversation Tom and Britney share how being a parent has not altered their Identity. In fact, it appears as if the role of parenting has strengthened the mind’s capacity to stay in function. Regardless of the seeming activities that take place because of parenting, their vigilance, for peace of mind, is steadfast.
A Course in Miracles, and the mind training principles for which it offers, still remains as a central teaching tool for Britney, Tom and myself. I find it very interesting that some of the insights that Tom and Britney shared during the filming of the documentary A Course in Miracles – Enlightenment or Bust!, remains VERY relevant. This goes to show that teachings to truth do not change, regardless of circumstance.
Following the Voice for Spirit, continues as everyone’s number one priority. It is THAT Voice everyone credits for all the “doings” of being a parent and making a documentary.
As with all seeming journeys, the unfolding of everything has called forth great trust and listening for spiritual guidance. Listen in as we all share from the heart, our inspiration and experiences of miracles.
